Briefly...

Finally confirmed my appointment with the new oncologist. Seeing her next Wednesday afternoon. And it looks like she's "in-network" on my insurance plan. Could I be so lucky?

In other news, Juliette slept through the night last night for the first time in forever (well, not forever, she slept through the night from 4 weeks - 1 year and then something went awry about a month ago).

Hayden has seen his favorite preschool girlfriend 3 days in a row and he's beside himself. He gets all, "Mom, leave me alone" when I try to tease him about it, but then he says "I'm seeing her again tomorrow" and he can't hide the delight on his face.

Trevor has announced that after he's done with preschool, he doesn't want to go to kindergarten. "Why?", Sean asks. "I don't know how to stay on green," Trevor replies. Hayden's teacher has this red-yellow-green conduct system and Hayden has proudly stayed on green the whole school year so far. Trevor is already doubtful about his ability to behave so well. Honestly, I've got a few doubts myself (especially if he and Logan end up in the same class), but I think we can live with a few wild yellow or red days.

Great! Is the onco. at MD Anderson? Tell Trevor that i too have trouble staying on green at work...something about my smart mouth. It's hard work, but I believe in him. Colin also struggles with staying on green. He has a little trouble with his mouth. When he sees something funny it's just so hard to keep that humor to yourself.

Gasp, what will Miss M say about Hayden's girlfriend???? It's only fair, though, considering she has numerous other boyfriends.

I'm glad you got an appt at MD Anderson, and I'm also glad the oncologist is a woman. As sexist as this may sound, she's likely to be more compassionate.

Glad to hear you are making progress with MD Anderson. Also, glad to hear about Miss J. Somehow when the baby sleeps through the night, the whole family is better. Certainly Mom and Dad's perspective are better :)

I'm so glad to hear that you got in at MD Anderson. That's great news. I love the stories about the kids. Trevor's worry about "staying on green" cracks me up. Too cute.

Lisa,
Your stories about Trevor, Hayden & Juliette are so precious. You are a very talented writer. If they had that red, yellow, green, when my kids were young, Jim, Mike, & Kate would have been out of the green frequently, Russ & Bill occasionally, Therese, Sue & Tom not at all. You and Sean are great parents seeing the humor in it.
Glad your doctor is in your insurance list.
Talked to Uncle Pat at Grandma's. I am keeping him and Uncle Mike updated about you, because they don't have computers, by printing out parts of your blog and mailing it to them.
Love,
Aunt Dorothy

So great to see you today. Glad things are going your way. Glad Hayden doesn't blame Jack for knocking out his tooth. Still laughing that Trevor won't come over to our house to play. Will call you when I get back in town. Hope dinner was yummy! Allison

I'm glad your oncologist is a woman too not only because she's likely to be compassionate but because she's likely to be brilliant for having made it to the top despite all the prejudice she had to overcome!
At the risk of outing a romance, can I make a guess on Hayden's g.f.: does her first name begin w/ P and end w/ R?
Lots of thoughts and good wishes are coming your way regularly from me, Julie
